Proofreader/Submissions Editor

We are seeking a smart, dynamic, detail-oriented Proofreader/Submissions Editor to be part of our Creative team. You’ll partner with our writers and art directors to assure flawless executions are delivered to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be proofreading work, ranging from websites, to apps, to offline materials, and presentation decks. You’ll also be responsible for preparing client submissions, as well as FDA submissions. The payoff is working with a fun, talented team in an award-winning, full-service healthcare agency!
Key Responsibilities:
       All proofreading and copyediting for digital and offline materials,   
 including manuscripts, comps, presentations and proofs. May require multiple 
 reviews of material.

       Fact checking all copy, and validating client- and company-supplied references.

       Preparing  annotations and reference documents for client medical/legal/regulatory submissions, as well as FDA submissions
       Create and maintain reference libraries for each client and/or project
       Partner with writers and art directors to ensure all work and submissions adhere
 to specific requirements of each client

       Manage workload of multiple projects in a timely manner without sacrificing   

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
·        Minimum years of experience: 3 years of proofreading and copyediting experience in marketing, advertising, publishing, or other related field
·        Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent. Major in English, Journalism or Marketing a plus.
·        Background of working in highly regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or financial services
·        Understanding of medical and pharmaceutical terminology, as well as FDA regulations
·        Expertise in AMA style
·        Proficiency working with Adobe Acrobat applications, as well as track changes in Word documents
·        Ability to manage multiple projects effectively with tight deadlines
·        Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
·        Self-starter—ability to work independently and focus intently, providing exceptional attention to detail
·        Must be fully authorized to work in the US
